Corrie Schoeman Art Folder w/Lightning Strike Carbon Fibre Copper
A Member of the Knifemaker's Guild of Southern Africa since 1985.
Corrie started making knives when at university thirty years ago, but during the past ten years he came to specialise in folders.
Corrie Schoeman was very involved in Martial Arts and could not buy any Japanese weapons to train with. The only way out was to make it himself and he started with a short sword. It was a huge sucess and then it all started.
Corrie has two University degrees and made knives part time for most of his life, but knifemaking became such a passion that he left his profession and is now a fulltime knifemaking artist.
Corrie is also a member of the three member evaluation committee for allowing new member into the Guild for the past decade.
He uses only the best exotic materials like Mammoth Ivory, Pearl, Damascus and Damasteel. All his folders have filed liners and backstraps, and a jewel is inlaid somewhere on the knife and in the thumbstud.
Corrie "I love designs that are a bit unusual."
