WINDLASS STEELCRAFTS: The seeds of Windlass Steelcrafts were sown by a young motivated Indian named Ved Prakash Windlass in the year 1941 when he started a small undertaking to supply 'khukris' to the British Gurkha regiment in the pre independent era of the Indian history.
Windlass Steelcrafts was selected by the famed British Gurkha Regiments to build their critical and unique combat knife, the kukri, and this British government contract has continued uninterrupted for many years, a record which continues to grow with each passing year.
Windlass products are unique, because they are fully functional and usable. Their selection of edged weapons will always cut, behave and feel like the originals.
