Custom Knifemaker Profile: Cedric Pannell
Long-time knifemaker, veteran member of the Knifemaker's Guild of Southern Africa since 1999, passed away in July 2017. Cedric was revered for his wide range of fixed blade knives and respected for his willingness to share with his contemporaries and new and upcoming potential. He was fascinated with the age-old craft, and his motto was "I produce only fixed blade knives and all the work is done by myself. I also strive for the highest possible quality." Always an active voting member of the Knifemakers' Guild, starting out under the guidance of the iconic Rob Brown. Cedric was a respected, admired name in the industry, and most importantly, is missed by his knifemaking friends.
