Bog Oak is not a specific species, but is rather a term that designates oak that has been buried in a peat bog for hundreds or sometimes thousands of years, in the beginning stages of fossilization with hues that range from dark brown to almost black wood. Wood models include a large buttery soft calfskin slip pouch, designed for minimal pocket carry.

Updated machining processes enabled the removal of the positioning hole on the front handle of all smooth titanium handles, re-designed inlay models now have a new stylish larger single front inlay, with the hole hidden.
