His passion became evident at young age when George experimented and made his first panga and realised that his meticulous attention to detail would lead him to the precision engineering field later in his life.
After a successful career in the mining industry, George started living his passion by making handmade knives for the everyday user and for the connoisseur. His passion for hunting and nature became evident in the different types of pangas, daggers, folders and fixed blades that you will find in his collection.
Each custom knife is his own original design, starting out as a hand drawn sketch which is then refined to ensure precise fitting and craftsmanship. All work is done personally by George from water jet cutting, grinding, bench drilling, hardening and quenching of blades. Each knife is handmade and no CNC machinery is used, no two knives will ever be identical .
George believes that the art of producing a superior knife is captured in the type of materials used, as well as in the craftsmanship, that goes into the handles of his knives. The raw materials he uses includes Mammoth Tooth, Mother of Pearl, different types of Ivory and wood, horns, bones and titanium.
