Ash is an indigenous deciduous timber in Europe, most frequently found in the more northerly regions. Muhle briefly steam heats the wood to a very high temperature where it attains high resistance to water, also the grain is accentuated and the wood takes on its brown colour. In order to preserve the naturalness of the surface, however, it is treated only with oil, not lacquered. This provides the wood with perfect protection against water and makes it particularly long-lasting.

Pure Badger - Solid quality for wet shavers who like a massaging effect while preparing to shave. The band of natural hair is machine-made, and the hairs are more flexible than bristles. The colour spectrum ranges from brownish-grey to black.
