A Member of the Knifemaker's Guild of Southern Africa since 2006.

'In October 1999 I followed my passion as a hobby knifemaker and through the Knifemakers Guild contacted Gavin Dickerson who agreed to mentor me and by April 2000 I sold my first two hunting knives to two of my colleagues at work who believed in my skills. From here on my hobby just took off and since then I have also attended a few inyernational Blade Shows.

My passion is to make high end folding knives with damascus steel which I source from fellow knifemakers who specialize in making damascus. Handle material is mostly ivory, mother of pearl and any special wood that I can lay my hands on. Heat treating I do myself and have invested in a quality furnace with digital control. Personally do all my own embellishing on my knives with only the tried and trusted needle files as I have no other fancy tooling. I really enjoy my knifemaking!'
